With over 17 years of experience, Sedzani Netshitenzhe is a passionate advocate for youth development and philanthropy. As the founder and Managing Director of Nzalo Careers, she has dedicated her career to creating opportunities that empower young people. Netshitenzhe’s diverse experience spans across education events management, logistics, accounting, project management, and various business ventures—each contributing to the success of Nzalo Careers.
Throughout her career, she’s taken on key responsibilities including sales, sponsorship acquisition, database management, and business development. She has also managed a variety of ad-hoc projects, particularly those focused on career development and educational events, while creating platforms for stakeholders to optimize their Social Return on Investment (SROI).
Since stepping into the industry in 2006, Netshitenzhe’s multitasking ability has been a driving force behind assembling teams across departments, designing and executing projects, and establishing robust business systems and processes. Her work includes developing career development content for high school students (Grade 8-12) and youth in after-school programs. Her natural leadership and ability to inspire others has led her to mentor and train interns, helping them build their own careers. The vision behind Nzalo Careers was sparked by her personal journey and her commitment to uplifting young people, especially those from disadvantaged communities.
At the core of Netshitenzhe’s mission is a deep passion for community development—specifically improving education and creating pathways for youth to access quality information and opportunities, helping them become active contributors to the economy.
